Performing the duties of the Head of Health Minister's Political Cabinet I became the target of ruthless attacks of a foreign pharmaceutical concern which ruined my professional career and undermined my credibility both as a physician and as a person. Due to press publications making groundless accusations against me I had to stop my public activity I have been pursuing for many years. I was forced to clear my name in course of court proceedings - appearing against the authors of the publications in court - to clarify in public all the circumstances of the events supposed to be the basis of false accusations against me.
For over a year I have been trying to find an answer to the question why my over twenty years' professional experience and my position were undermined by one press article based on untruth and ambiguities. That is why I decided to create this press service to be able to present you all the facts related to these accusations. I hope that presenting all the events on the basis of confirmed, reliable materials and documents I could find, as well as testimonies of witnesses, this service will provide you with a source of impartial, true information on that issue. Maybe some persons visiting this page will have some deeper reflections on the ruthless power of manipulation I had to face because of persons responsible for market expansion of a powerful pharmaceutical concern.
I can assure you that I do not want to attack anyone, and especially the representatives of mass media. I believe that it is the journalists' duty to realise the citizens' rights to reliable information, transparency of public life, and to serve the society and the country.
